BK11WH_HRLet’s talk about Brooklyn Street Collection S13

This collection was inspired by the streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn – Driggs, Roebling, 10th Street, and Wythe. Many of the Williamsburg streets are adorned with street art, graffiti, flea merchants, artists, musicians and more.

On my walks I discovered a simple brick wall with scattered painted bricks on Berry & 10th. I thought to myself, what a great way to transform a basic texture into something more artistic. And so these styles were created & have become the season’s favorites. Hand painted by yours truly, each one its own creation, upon my favorite summer straw toyo braid. Each style has more than 10 colors combined with black and white to create a color balance.

Also you’ll find a splash of my past as a reggae DJ. Jamaica and its colors are always a great inspiration for summer that is universal. Styles made with the fabric we dubbed “reggae paint” have also been hits of the season. Get your reggae splash girls!!If you want to see more please go to this website
