Tracy Reese Fashion Show Press…

NY Post - “Though fall was the season, Tracy Reese was obviously feeling a spring in her step and eschewed the autumnal spectrum for grass green, azur blue and rose pink. Bughts are the new seasonless colors in her pay book, and she likes her prints big; a blown up photo print of roses and grass, and matching plaids. Put it all together in one outsfit and this one’s not for wallflowers.”
Metro - “Against a backdrop of a painting depicting the sun peeking through stormy clouds overlooking a mountain cliff and the ocean, Tracy Reese sent a whirlwind of graphic arts down the runway, a project she started last spring. Highlight this go ’round include a creation called warped azurite abstract, which she used for a conversation-inducing raglan coat, ruched blouse, sheath and velvet jacket.”
Centredaily.com - “Reese’s collection had a definite menswear influence, but it was also unmistakenly feminine, with moden twists on classics such as pleated skirts, cinch-waisted dresses and shifts. Reese used headbands as the base for accessories such as berets and oversized hats, as well as the anchor for sprays of feathers. Feather embellishments are an emerging trend on the fall 2008 runways, turning up on the runways at Herve Leger, Baby Phat, and Miss Sixty, among others.
amNewYork.com - “It was splendor in the grass at this afternoon show, where Reese sent a series of fresh, grass-green patterned pieces down her runway including a charming strapless number. Other touchdowns included dresses printed with giant roses — one series in cool blue, the other in azalea. A stormy blue satin toga with one-sided embellishment was stunning as were swanky coats in black.”
